Trancekit looked back up. This was much more interesting than eavesdropping on auntie Vividpaw's and Rosepaw's conversation. He wondered if they were here. Maaybe they were watching him. He shivered at the thought.
But he was confused on a small thing. So, carefully choosing his words-for he had heard Snowbird had many different personalities for cats asking questions-he spoke.
"Umm...How do you apply the heerbs again, Snowbird?",He mewed.

"Ohh. And.....If I may ask. You do dab the cobwebs to clear the blood, don't you?",He mewed softly. Although sitting by the medicine den wall made it echo. He thought he might have heard it from auntie Vividpaw, but he wasn't so sure.

Nope. Not this time. Trancekit smiled. He remembered this one from where auntie Vividpaw talked about...Now what was that cat's name? Oh well, didn't matter anyway. "Sometimes it is. But not very often. Rush is probably what you mean",He mewed towards Morningkit.

"Umm...I hope you don't mind me asking Morningkit but how do you know all this stuff?",He mewed shyly. True, he listened in on auntie and Rosepaw, but now to every conversation. He had never even heard of half the herbs Morningkit had just named and here she was, spitting out names as fast as a dragonfly could wiz by. He was just curious, though. He had never seen Morningkit around. He wondered where she could be from.

Some things in life just had to be ful of excitment. Of course, after the small training season, Trancekit had been a bit excited. He had rushed off to tell his auntie, who had been ignoring him about stuff like this since Rosepaw had dissapeared. But now he did have a few questions about stuff. And who better to ask than Cagedpaw? Being his friend and all...
Trancekit slowly had padded up to the medicine den and called out. Now all he had to do was wait, and his friend would come. Or not.

Trancekit tipped his head in confusion. That wasn't Cagedpaw, but another voice. And he couldn't figure out who it was? So, being his curious self, he decided to find out. "Ok. Then who is here?",He called.

"Oh?" Trancekit saddened. Then his face lit up. Cagedpaw had told him about the other assistants once before! He had just forgotton who was who. But this must be... "Oh...You're Hollowpaw, right?",He called.

"So you could be...",He murmered. Then his voice depened a bit from the squeak-kit voice he grew up with. "Why do you have to be so mean?"

Trancekit sighed, but it was a bit reluctant. "Cagedpaw's...Mentioned you at times, Hollowpaw. So I know you aren't really mean. I'm sorry, it just came out that way. And you're partially right. Snowclan is full of lies. It'd be a shame of someone like our status started lying as well. So no, I don't expect you to lie. Your not low-rqanked on my status. In fact, I kind of like you. But..." His sigh was deeper now. "But what am I but a pesky kit, huh?"

He smiled once more. "Sorry I bothered you by coming here, Hollowpaw. Have you seen Cagedpaw, by any chance?"

He nodded. "This is the last one. I haven't seen much of him lately." He shook his head. "But uh, if you haven't seen him I guess I should ask some other cats."

He smiled warmly at the cat. "Thanks Hollowpaw.",He mewed before padding out.

Trancekit had searched everywhere. But he knew that whereever the cat was, he wouldn't be able to find him.
It had been a few days since he had talked to Hollowpaw about Cagedpaw. The she had been a little more than helpless to him. But he knew that wasn't her fault. The apprentice had stated she had a lot going in her mind. He knew what it felt like. But still, he needed to tell someone about not seeing the cat that calls him 'best friend'. And he had one specific cat in mind. But he wouldn't know if she'd care much, considering Cagedpaw was just an asstant and all.
Still, it was worth a try. He had just reached the medicine den and leaned in to call out a greeting. But he had just saw the dash of white fly by in front of the entrance. He frowned and sat down. Maybe she would be too busy for him. He shook his head. This was an important matter. It wouldn't be ignored. Trancekit couldn't let that happen. Carefully leaning his body back inside, he called out to the medicine cat.
Now all there was to do was wait.

He nodded solemly to the medicine cat. He sighed and slowly turned his head to look up at her. "Uh, uhhm.......I was just wondering if you've seen Cagedpaw around, Snowbird. I haven't seen her in a few days."

Trancekit had stuck his paw one inch out of camp and had come back with a fistful of nettles. He didn't know that there was that darn bush just outside the entrance. How was he supposed to know. But he had quickly padded over to the medicine den, ducked inside, adn attempted to call out the name if his friend, Cagedpaw. Thats when he saw the deputy. Now...what was the name? He couldn't remember. But the dog didn't look so scary. So the tom nodded politely to him. "Whats wrong with you?",He mewed.
